I Feel The Need For….Speed

Two professional women: both married with kids and both juggling clients, reports, potty training, packed lunches, chores, dogs, cats, errands, husbands and …”what was that you said? SEX?”
That three-letter word that once was so frequent, so liberating, so yummy has been sidelined in a sea of life, work and snot.
It is time.
Time to put sex back on a pedestal by injecting some extra spice into our relationships.

I Feel The Need For….Speed

Getting back on a horse requires concentration and patience.  Try to rush things – your steed will sense it and things won’t go according to plan.  Well that pretty much sums up this week’s mission.  The horse was quivering with anticipation, after

all he had been locked up in his stable for the Winter and he had been given the green light to go out to pasture.   The stable door opened, he galloped out did a lap of the field, bucked with his mare – ah, the freedom felt so good but then…

…one of his foals started whinnying.

Back into the stable.

Next day, he spotted his mare in the far corner of the field.  He made it over to her in record time, they started playing together – oh bliss, oh heaven, oh shit – seriously?  His other foal started neighing for attention.  You have got to be kidding me he neighed back.

He sloped back to the stable.

Third day, surely third time lucky. The sun was shining, he and his mare hid themselves in a corner of field so no one could find them….or so he thought.  They started to get frisky – things were looking good – and then the tell tale sound of baby hooves drawing near stopped him in his tracks.  He groaned. This can’t be happening.  Yes it can.  His eldest foal found them in their hiding place. The mare went to deal with the foal.  He whinnied in frustration and plunged his head into a bucket of ice.

Concentration and patience he tells himself and with those foals around, you have got to be quick.  Damn quick.
